Campli, from Thursday, November 4 until November 7, will be the place of the World Championship of Trout Area.
The best seven nations in the world will compete for the title of this fishing discipline of Japanese derivation, that provides for the immediate release of the fish as soon as it is caught.
The qualified nations, in addition to Italy, are Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine. Obviously, Eastern European nations are the masters. Italy will try to interrupt this domination
Considering the importance of the event , which will take place with the aegis of the FIPSED (Fédération Internationale de la Pêche Sportive en Eau Douce) , of the FIPSAS and of the CONI ,
the Abruzzo Region and the Municipalities of Campli and Civitella del Tronto which have granted the High Patronage.
In Campli , on Thursday 4th November , from 4.30 p.m. , will be the parade of the participating nations along Corso Umberto I , to then meet in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele for the presentation ceremony ,
the national anthems and then taste the “heritage of Campli” , LA PORCHETTA , that will be offered to all the athletes and companions.
It will be then the lake Vecchio Mulino di Piancarani to host from Friday the tests and then the two matches that will proclaim the individual champion and for nations.
Both the presentation ceremony, the matches and the final ceremony are open to the public in compliance with the anti Covid regulations. In the perimeter of the lake there will be a citadel where it will be possible to buy the best articles for the discipline.
In fact, the most qualified exhibitors of the sector will be present and will show all the new articles coming from the “Rising Sun”.
